Winchester Model 1876, Previously Restored
$14,500.00
Description
The Winchester Model 1876 holds a special place in firearms history as one of the early lever-action rifles capable of handling full-power rifle cartridges. It bridged the gap between Winchester’s earlier pistol-caliber lever guns and the later, more powerful models like the Model 1886. Today, original Model 1876 rifles are prized by collectors, and today we present a restored example for those interested in owning a piece of Wild West history.
Winchester 1876 s/n 22512 first came to us in 2007. We restored the metal parts and refinished the wood. After 17 years of use, its owner decided to have additional work performed in 2024, included re-polish and re-finish of action, barrel and mag tube, as well as additional coats of hand-rubbed oil wood finish. Full work records from 2007 and 2024 are available.
