This is a pre-owned Winchester 1894 chambered in .32-40 Win. Carrying serial number 477324, this venerable favorite was originally shipped in 1909 and now bears signature Turnbull Restoration metal finishes.
Turnbull Restoration in 2005 performed bone charcoal color case hardening on the rifle’s lever, hammer, forend cap and crescent butt plate. We charcoal blued the receiver and and small parts as well. Make note however that the customer chose to not have us perform our usual polish prior to metal finishes.
The 26″ barrel and full length mag tube were rust blued at some point by a 3rd party, and show some handling marks. The extractor, loading gate and trigger were nitre blued by a 3rd party as well.
The rifle’s walnut stocks were refinished at some point by a 3rd party, and are in overall very good condition.
