Winchester 1886 Deluxe Lightweight No Longer for Sale

Description

This Model 1886 has been completely restored and upgraded to to a Winchester 1886 Deluxe Lightweight.  The rifle is fitted with a set of 2X fancy stocks with a pistol grip butt stock.  The stocks are checkered with the correct factory H-pattern.  This rifle is fitted with a ebony wedge and spur butt plate.

The restoration work included a new barrel and new stocks to original Winchester dimensions and specifications.  A complete metal restoration including a full polish and restoration of all the barrel and receiver markings was completed as well.

The receiver, hammer, lever & forend cap are finished with the correct Bone Charcoal Color Case Hardening for the vintage of this rifle.  The barrel and magazine tube are finished with period correct bluing.  The engraving is the Winchester #10 pattern with a moose in the middle.  The rifle is equipped with folding leaf rear sights with Lyman #2 tang sights.
