Description
A fully restored deluxe Model 1886 with a number of special order features including:
- Special order barrel length of 28″
- Special order barrel shape (1/2 round, 1/2 octagon)
- 3X fancy stocks
- Checkered stocks
- Original special order barrels sights
- Factory sling swivel studs.
Restoration work included a new 45-90 1/2 round, 1/2 octagon barrel, new 3X fancy stocks, H-pattern stock checkering, complete metal polish and period correct metal finishes. The receiver is finished with traditional Bone Charcoal Color Case Hardening which is correct for Model 1886 rifles built prior to serial #120,000.
