Added to our pre-owned collection today is a U.S. Fire Arms Henry Nettleton Single Action Army Revolver. This is a faithful recreation of the Colt Single Action Army Revolvers that were issued to Cavalry Units throughout the U.S.
The “H.N.” inspector markings symbolize inspection by Henry Nettleton who served as the fulltime ordnance department Inspector at the Colt factory from 1878 through 1879.
These revolvers feature Turnbull Restoration bone charcoal color case hardened frame, gate and hammer. The 7 ½” barrel and small parts feature USFA’s Dome Blue finish.
The historically correct walnut grips have a properly aged “U.S.” cartouche and the revolver itself is properly marked with “U.S.” on the frame.
This gun is in excellent condition with excellent bore with deep rifling and minor handling marks. Mechanical function is excellent.
Includes original box and documents.
