Designed and built for the hunter who is looking for a big game rifle in a small compact rifle. Built using a Marlin Model 1895 guide rifle, this rifle has been converted to handle the new 470 Turnbull rifle cartridge. Fitted with an 18 1/2″ barrel, this rifle is quick handling and light weight, weighing in at only 7 lbs. The lever has also been changed to the large loop style.
The 470 Turnbull rifle cartridge is the companion to the 475 Turnbull. The 470 Turnbull is designed specifically for use in the Marlin 1895 action.
