Added to showroom today is a beautifully restored L.C. Smith Ideal Grade Long Range 12 gauge shotgun. This classic American double with 30″ barrels and exquisite English walnut stocks carries serial number RE126735.
Wood Restoration:
- New buttstock in English walnut, with reproduction butt plate and grip cap fitted
- New forend in English walnut, with latch and ebony wedge fitted
- Period correct, hand rubbed oil finish
- Checkered in Ideal Grade pattern
Metal Restoration:
- Polish barrels
- Restore all barrel lettering and engraving
- Rust blue barrels
- Polish receiver and other parts
- Repair screws
- Recut all engraving to original
- Color case harden receiver, top lever, forend iron and latch
- Charcoal blue trigger guard, safety, trigger and selector, pins, screws
