Presented for you today is a fully-restored Colt Frontier Six Shooter in .44-40 Win. Carrying serial number 99625, this example of Colt’s 1873 “Model P” type revolver is dated from 1883.
This antique Colt revolver was fully restored by Turnbull Restoration in 2006, and we now have the pleasure of consigning it. It appears the revolver was never fired after restoration. Restoration work included bone charcoal color case hardening of the frame and hammer in its period-correct fashion. New parts included barrel, ejector housing, cylinder, backstrap, trigger guard, screw set, and reproduction hard rubber grips. The barrel and cylinder were prepped in correct high-polish fashion to take their charcoal blue finish. The trigger and screws were finished in nitre blue.
This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a fully-restored, antique Colt single action revolver.
