L.C. Smith, Specialty
Sold
Description
This L.C. Smith Specialty Grade has been fully restored by Turnbull Restoration. Work included a complete stock re-finish & checkering re-cut, complete metal restoration with engraving re-cut and full polish, re-cut and re-blue on the barrels. The gun is fit with a Hunter One Selective Trigger and ejectors.
This gun retains all of its color case hardening and bluing as it was restored. The gun has been shot with only minimal wear on the breech face of the receiver. The action and barrels remain tight. The barrels have some moderate scratches on both the left & right barrel near the tip of the forend.
The butt stock shows only a few light handling marks with small cracks in the butt stock behind the lock plates. The forend has two visible cracks on the exterior that were repaired as part of the restoration work. The checkering is perfect with no worn or flat spots. The color case hardening, & charcoal bluing on this gun look as good today as they did when the gun was restored.
