Work included a complete metal restoration and restocking of the forend and buttstock. Color case hardening, charcoal bluing and rust bluing were the finishes applied to this

Looks absolutely beautiful after the fantastic restoration. I have my Dad’s Field Grade that looks really good, but not that good. The gun was originally owned by a man my father worked. Odd jobs with as a teen. He was the third owner, the first two were the original owner and his son. After the son’s tragic passing, the gun was gifted to my father by the son’s widow. For its age and having been actually used, the gun looks absolutely fantastic. It’s condition is amazing.
