Added to our showroom today is a unique and rare Hopkins & Allen revolver. The Hinsdale was a revolver made by Hopkins & Allen during the 19th century especially for ornithologists and taxidermists. The .38 rimfire and was specifically designed to handle cartridges lightly loaded with shot.
Frame is in good condition with some rust and pitting. Barrel condition is very good, as is its bore. Grips are in very good condition. Wood appears to be original and unfinished.
