Description
From Doug Turnbull’s personal collection comes this striking example of the Griffin & Howe Mauser Sporting Rifle. Built in 1934, this Griffin & Howe creation is chambered in .30-06.
Built on a commercial Waffenfabrik Mauser action, this is an exceptionally handsome American Sporting Rifle. Aside from small scattered handling marks, this rifle is mechanically superb. Walnut stock has especially nice figure and color, with checkering in 24 lines per inch. Sighting includes the legendary Lyman No. 48 wind-gauge rear sight.
This rifle will ship with an interesting set of documentation, including an original Griffin & Howe brochure and customer correspondence. Correspondence pertains only to a purchase inquiry, and does not serve as factory lettering.
