Doug Turnbull’s Personal Specs. Your Personalized 475. The Doug Turnbull Signature 475 answers the demand for a large bore lever gun (such as our own Turnbull Model 1886) that meets the same specifications as Doug Turnbull’s own rifle chambered in .475 Turnbull. Standard features include:
- Browning Model 71 base firearm
- Chambered in .475 Turnbull .475 Turnbull ammo components are available here – as featured in Shooting Times (May 2020)
- 26″ octagon barrel
- Reversible ivory/brass bead front sight, sporting rear sight
- Color case hardened receiver, drilled and tapped for receiver mount
- Turning Bull logo in gold inlay on spring cover base of loading gate
- Monogram: Customer’s own three-initial monogram in gold inlay on left side of receiver
- Color case hardened hammer, lever, forend cap, grip cap
- Gold inlay on hammer
- Engraving inspired by Winchester #6 factory pattern
- Rust blued barrel and mag tube, charcoal blued small parts
