This is an original Colt 1911 .45 caliber US Army stamped, manufactured in 1917.  The gun is completely original with no refinish or restoration work done.  It comes with one original two toned magazine.  The grips are original double diamond walnut, but do show some where to them.  The finish on this Colt 1911 shows more patina than original finish, but it does still have some original finish on the frame and slide.  The bore on this gun is in great shape and it still shoots very well.  This gun is a perfect candidate for restoration.
